Recycled FKM & Recycling Services

We offer recycled FKM materials that are readily available in stock for purchase. The materials are designed to meet your specific requirements, whether in terms of raw material composition or filler content.

Alternatively, we provide solid Recycled FKM material generated from your own production processes scraps, which can improve the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). If you have any FKM waste that you don't wish to convert, we are open to discussions about purchasing it from you.

AKRON® 
FKR-2175 Series

FKR-2175 comparable to virgin FKM material.

It is 30% of FKR-2275 mixed with 70% of virgin material, which we use AKRON FK1.

It can be used to produce O-rings with identical performance, making it indistinguishable from virgin FKM O-rings in both performance and appearance.

Consider it an eco-friendly, cost-effective alternative for your FKM material needs.

AKRON® 
FKR-2275UP Series

In sheet form, suitable for direct production.

In applications like O-ring production, where achieving the same performance or high quality as virgin FKM is crucial, our recommend formula is blending virgin fluoroelastomer compound with at a ratio of up to 60%~80% of FKR-2275UP loaded.

AKRON® 
FKR-2275 Series

In sheet form, unsuitable for direct production. In applications like O-ring production, where achieving the same performance as virgin FKM is crucial, we recommend blending virgin fluoroelastomer compound with at a ratio of 40%~60% FKR-2275 loaded.

The difference between our product, and traditional regrinding powder.

For instance, when manufacturing O-rings, traditional FKM powder can only be added up to a maximum of 15% without compromising performance. However, our product offers a slightly higher price point than powder, but it provides a significantly more cost-effective and efficient solution. Importantly, this increased efficiency doesn't sacrifice the performance of the O-rings in any way.
